Gothic Furniture

Surving Medieval furniture is rare so bare with me on this one.

Furniture is generally rectinlinear with heavy proportions. Small scale architectural motifs, such as pointed arches, highlight a relationship between architecture and furniture.
Types: chairs, stools, tables, cupboards, buffets, chests, and beds.
Materials: pine, oak, and walnut are the most common woods.
Seating: chairs and thrones are few and ceremonial.

Examples shown below include: a choirstall chair, a chest, a dresser, a bed, and a table.
