Louis XIV Symbols/Motifs

Pictures below represent from top to bottom: a compilation of motifs seen throughout Louis XIV’s architecture and style, second photo show the crown symbol of royalty shown quite in the show off fashion as a fountainhead in the royal pond, the next photo shows a geometric motif pattern on the garden lawn outside the Palais de Versailles, then the statue represents the ever present aspect of Louis XIV himself with statues of himself shown throughout his reign, and finally you cannot have Louis without the symbol of the sun king…because that was what he was refered to as.
